    Houseplant Seminar with Tom Huckaby

    As the former owner/operator of Laconia Greenery for more than 20 years, Tom has a vast knowledge of plants and a knack for conveying this knowledge. Tom will give a brief talk covering the needs and care of houseplants, and a Q&A that will follow. If you have ill houseplants, bring them in for Tom to diagnose and suggest a treatment plan. We will have a large selection of houseplants at a discounted price, and offer a discount on fertilizers, insecticides, and pots for seminar participants.

    Seed Starting Workshop with Bethany Pratt

    Bethany is the Horticulturalist at the Cooperative Extension Office. In this hands-on workshop Bethany will guide participant in the proper way to plant, germinate, and grow cole crops from seed. Each participant will leave with a tray planted with kale, spinach, lettuce, chard, and collard seeds. Cost: $5 to cover the cost of materials.

    Succulent Workshop with Tom Huckaby

We will have succulents and pots available at a discounted price for participants. We will provide soil and other potting materials.

    In this Lawn Care Seminar Ross and Tim will cover the basics of choosing an appropriate grass seed for your lawn, how to seed, when to fertilize, what spring pre-emergents to use, and answer any questions you may have.
